LOL... did u know to be as rich as... let say Jim pattison, you gotta work 4-5 times harder and earn 1/4 the money in canada then you would in doing the same businesses else where.  

making $14 an hour is not call making money.  its call making a living only.

the difference between HK and Here is that depending how you do, there is a much bigger chance of earning much more money.  Here is just earning enough to cover 2 meals, don't even think about being rich.

BMW, Lexus, Benz... depend on WHAT they drive la...  you know a 323i, IS250, C230, those cars doesnt cost more then a fully loaded camry.  

you remind me of what happened in hk... this kid finally got a E90 323i and told me and my frds "I can finally join your group since I drive a BMW now!"  then my frd replies, "Dude, we all have M3, don't make us look bad with ur base model 323i."

Drive Toyota or Honda doesn't mean these drivers not rich gei. Yea their percentage may be lower but some people may not want to spend too much $ for cars but other things else lei

thats BS, thats what ppl say when they can't afford a more $$$ car

if they dont want to spend too much money for something that means they are still concern with money and can't afford it.  Yes, they have enough money to buy it
but maybe they have to spend 80% of their spending money to buy it.   but on the other hand, they can buy a decent camry for 20% of the money and spend it on other stuff.  being rich and being able to afford luxury goods is 2 things.

it's diff for everyone. i am happy with life here in general. i don't think i can survive in hk. 2 weeks trip seem too long 4 me there except seeing my friends.
