吳孟達: How did you keep your maltese's face so white and clean? Are the tearing eyes a large concern? Can you maintain his face white and clean all the time?

Pet wonderland got puppies from breeders...
Maybe breeders don't know that they are a pet shop.....

maybe you info is more correct, I had my guess because when I bought my dog, the breeder needed us you sign a contract for no reselling the purchased dog, and the dog has to be neutered. Maybe different breeders have different policy?

And just curious, are home breeders = certified breeders or puppy mills? So many people they breed their own dogs and selling them on craigslist, do they also consider as breeders?

I did a lot of researches on web and ended up with the followings:

1) Dog Food - we bought the one which is grain free
2) A facial scrub product supposed to clean his face every 2 days or daily
3) Boiled water - no tap water

點解唔領養

好多貓狗係BCSPCA等人道wai滅,領養仲有愛心啦!如果你係純粹玩,我唔建議你養寵物.

Same concerns/inquiries over here. And since there are no well known local Toy Poodle breeders in town (not according to the internet anyway..), how can I tell if a particular so called 'breeder' is a good breeder? I mean.. basically anyone can be a 'breeder' on kijiji.ca/buysell.ca right?

Pets Wonderland promises 1 year of health warranty so that was kind of good?

Did you check on pet habxtat's policy too? Because I knew they have this kind of money back policy even they sell puppy mill dogs...

That's why I drove all they way to buy my dog from a certified breeder, I don't trust any of the home breeders at all even if they claimed themselves pro breeders, I don't want to take any risk

I understand adopting one from SPCA is the best idea, however if the dog size is sko's concern, I don't think she can take care of a big dog at all. It's good that sko already know how much effort she could make in a long run, rather than take one home from SPCA and then dump him/her once again when sko found that she cannot take care of a big dog afterwards.

If you have set your eyes on miniature/toy poodles, then it's pretty hard to adopt one.
I google around and only found this poodle site so far. It on Vancouver Island and the up coming miniature litt ...

Oh I was on those sites before too, but they're mostly miniature poodles which will be slightly larger than the toy ones.

Yeah, teacup ones are cute, but they're too fragile with more health problems. Toy sized poodles would be my top pick (not as big [difficult to handle in my town house], and not too small [they say first time dog owners should avoid teacup ones because they are inexperienced since teacup poodles would require extra care and caution]).
