I finally bought it from Dell for 469.99.

I bought for $489 at London Drugs since I work there. Now Dell is selling for $449, I am going back to the store for a price match!!

Dell's price went up to $499 the day after I posted it, then up to $549 the day after.

I checked with my buddy at the camera department, they don't price match online retailers. $489 is already selling at cost.... I guess it must have a price glitch at Dell (which happens all the time).

I think we should be happy for the price we are getting Elly, because no one selling below $500 at this time.

P.S. Legit source from an inside from the "Big 2" electronic stores: The manufacturer cost for G10 is around $415.

$415 dead cost ..  sounds about right, ~ 20-25% mark up on DC ..  I looked at the G10 few month ago, the shop owner told me the G10 costed him ~ $425, and he was willing to sell it to me for $450...  

But it was like 6 month ago ..  probably cost more now.

Just wondering: which type of memory card do you use with G10 to get the most out of the camera? The sales at FS suggests at least a Class 4 or 6 SD card. I've two (pretty old) Class 2 SD card...I supposed I should get new ones. Which type should I get? Any insight will be appreciated.

BTW, do you get your memory cards at FS / BB? I never like those stores (the service is generally poor). Do you know any "Mom & Pa" shop...like on Bridgeport?
