So ..    let me summary ..  he was broke ~ 3 yr ago ..  driving echo ..    or whatever .. and he is damn rich now .. ( should say his dad is damn rich now, or all the sudden ..  give him a lots of money ..  )

Again .. nothing wrong to be rich ..  there are tons of rich people .. and there are ~ 3,000 people in HK .. with more the $ 1 billion cash flow ..  may be his dad is one of them ..   

But I guess if someone is really that rich .. and he is the one who earns all the money .. ( not just from dad )  he probably won't have time to blow water  here anyway ..   

yeah . I am one of the boring and broke man ..  so .. I need to blow water here .

thnx 5zigen, ppl here just look at things too simple.  They automatically assume people that drive a Vitz = Poor and doesn't accept the fact that some people also enjoy these cars even tho they have nicer cars to drive.

How complicated is that?  A guy who really likes to show off and the only car he could show to ppl is an Echo, what would ppl think?  He claimed that he earned all money by himself and bought those cars by himself, how come he couldn't show them to anyone? Unless he's a useless guy who has a rich dad, but his dad won't let him to show any nice cars to anyone.  If you really has a rich dad, good for you, but lying that you earned all money by urself is even worse.  And steal a picture from Google and said that CGT is your dad's CGT is stupid too.

I heard that it is quite common in HK brand new cars to be driven back to the dealership/lot from the port, even for "hong" goods, and from Toyota to M. Benz.

Make sense too .. labour cost in HK is cheap ..  and find 20 or 30 people to drive those nice cars ..  is easy ..
