Is talking on cell phone and drive more dangerous then having HOT POT and driving? not really .. but it is illegal to talk on phone, but not hot pot ..
Same as speed limited .. doing 110km/hr in a new Ferrari is way more SAFER then doing 99km/hr on a 30 yr old LADA .... but one is illegal, one is not.
hm....i don't think "search the contact list" is allowed. as i understand, you can only use speed dial which you can only press one key to make your call
compare to the 30yr old LADA driver, the ferrair driver has better ability to pay for the speeding ticket ma.
Yes, many things people suggested here you can do while driving and not part of the cellphone ban law...

Fine starts at $200 with panelty in higher insurance rate...so you might be better off on the phone than having hotpot...or all you can eat buffet...
