More serious actions taken to protect the board.
We expect to see less new member sign up due to this restriction.

Thanks man.   But we definitely need to 1 or 2 good mod to only ban these repeat spammers.
This is the only way to grow a forum.
Spammers, trolls, off topics can only hurt a forum.

How about if a member post like 5 or 10 messages in a hour, he is opened to be banned by a mod?  That way, a mod cannot do funny stuff to non spammers, and spammers can't really spam.    It's a nice system.

I like to post and I think many of my posts are okay... (except in the last few days...).

I just have to say admin has been doing a good job.  I know how hard it is to take care a forum because I had one before.

i did not know this board needs protection ,

  we should make it as easy as possible for new members to sign up

   if there are problem members ,  one way to deal with it
  is to create a special subforum
   a good name for it is   " member rehabilatation center "
   problem members can be commited to the center
   that means  , special moderators can create a discussion thread for a  certain
   problem member

  for example,  i can volunteer  to be committed to the center
   as a charter member  , inmate no 1
     that means there is a thread   named something like   " inmate  maanmo "
  then people can  posts their opinions on that thread
  about maanmo's  problems, and recommend tgreatments

banning members is not the answer
creagting a treatment center for them is the solution
after all,  they come to this board , for help ,  and we can give help

I disagreed with this idea, as sometimes people posts good replies and can type very fast, not all frequent replies are bad replies.

fibbi, this is diff fr sparkles, spearkles means ppl can have diff ideas or opinions like in earlier stages, I appreciate those ppl have diff opinion and can voice out. the one from tiff is call annoying, not sparkles, she is talking to herself, flood the forum with meaningless posts, purpose is to ruin and flood the forum and draw everyone away. purpose of toppy is to spread hatred, also want everyone go away.

limit number of reply will make lyk more boring, it doesn't solve the problem.

I do not like the idea of limiting number of reply neither.  Sometimes if I am lucky, I could find many things to post and I hope I can post them all.  Since it's all the old members, it does not really matter how many posts each posts.
