Sounds reasonable. However their conclusion seems overly stringent and premature. Bringing 2 wok is really no big deal. There ain't that much choices for woks here. Maybe they are made in China version of Le Cruset, who knows LOL. Besides even if she plan to illegally stay here, if those were cheap wok, might as well buy them here, only $10 a piece or less.

The worse they they did is denying access to phones, toilet paper, etc? wtf? They should've focused on the inhumane detention during the interview, rather than why the customs suspected her and turned her away.

i think it was either miscommunication or she tried to hide something at the beginning.  so her answers were not consistent.  
the questions they asked are ok, i have been asked similar questions by us custom.  
normal thinking, how often will you bring two big luggages for vacation.
i don't surprise of this kind of story, but just wonder what is the catch.  and similar story just happens anywhere

I always ask my dad to bring lots of stuff here when he comes here for vacation.

we will ask our friends to bring as much as they can when they come to vacation.
but when you go to japan, europe or ... for vacation, will you bring two packed luggages with you.  i think this is something that the main culture won't understand.

that's why I seldom ask my friends to bring things for me from HK. esp when they are visiting as tourists. It's ok if my friends are visiting HK and coming back tho. (but that eats up their duty free qouta)

賈慧表示，如只是因她和丈夫對「要找的人，以及工作」的說法不同即拒絕李的入境，做法並不合理，辦事處已向CBSA表達關切。賈慧說，台駐加代表處亦向聯邦移民部，對有台旅客入境過關遭無理對待一事，表達關切。

據台灣傳媒報道，50歲的李春花9日拿到加拿大核發的觀光簽證，10日隻身搭乘長榮航空飛往溫哥華，探視移民加拿大的妹妹。她不會說英文，但認為溫哥華機場有華語翻譯，還有妹妹接機，應不會有問題。沒想到通關時，被海關人員帶進小房間，質疑她簽證過期、僅持單程機票，懷疑有逾期停留「企圖」。李春花立即出示簽證和回程機票，證明自己單純是觀光探親，卻引來海關人員一連串無理對待。
