i dont see how thats tvb magic... cuz taxi IS easy to find in HK...  90% of the time there is a taxi around.


TVB can never put the band aid on right side for the next scene... say if the guy got hurt on the left, his band aid or wound would be on the right side

police series, those actors that are more familiar looking and have usually have more lines is always the criminal. the suspects are usually less familiar actors with less lines.

people always happen to find out stuff that others don't want them to know by accident
ie: constance hearing the conversation of jessica and silvia with the baby monitor.

in ancient shows, no matter how loud they talk, others can not hear their secret behind those paper thin doors.

in longer dramas, there is always one girl that cries a lot.

there is always fried eggs, green veggie and sweet and sour pork on the dinner table.

to show that they are going to the airport, the scene that shows them in the car is always on the bridge.

transportation method is only walking, mini bus, taxi or car.  i don't think they have ever shown anyone talk about MTR or ride bus in the show since those are private companies and are not sponsored.... i'll ask my tvb frd to confirm LOL

the hospital scene is used over and over. same with police station scene.  when ever they show the exterior of these buildings, it has always been the same clip.

- they use the same ikea furniture in EVERY series...

- the rich people's home always have a coffee table constructed of lighted-cubes

- no matter how poor or rich you are, your house always have a HUGE living room and 3/4 rooms

- someone will always end up in the hospital

Tiny little business can support like 15 people.  LIke a little Char Siu, Char Charn Then, Moon Cake,  business can support 2 adults 4 grandparents and 2 cousins and 7 kids....

And those 15 people can make it to dinner at the same time sitting at this 1 table

And when something goes wrong, this poor little business can always find that $50,000 no problem time and time again.
