Hong Kong is built on a Democracy that already exists and it is considered a Good Democracy (with different degree or variation).

It is not my responsibility to educate you, so I'd suggest that you do some homework yourself. Look up what Governor Patten did to reform the Legislative Council before 1997. Then look at the measures that the Central Government took to promptly tear it down and re-instate the totally ridiculous functional constituency. Perhaps you can then explain to me why the degree of democracy has decreased in Hong Kong?

So what if that's the campaign promise an HK CEO-candidate makes? If an HK CEO general election is held, the collective wisdom of the people will decide whether they want somebody like that to lead them. If you are for it, you vote for him. If you are against the policy, you vote against him. Simple as that. And then the people will decide.

力兄, 你係唔會明白架喇. 小弟覺得會有唔少香港人, 為左某某承諾當選之後會派錢而去選佢的, 因為佢地覺得呢d 候選人先真真正正幫到基層市民.

希望到時真係有普選, d 人識得明辨是非啦~

小弟覺得, 當年老鵬因為香港快要回歸, 所以就玩一d 英國人百幾年都唔敢o係香港玩既野 -- 真民主!
跟住就拍拍屁股走返去英國, un un 腳食住花生等睇戲.

純粹個人感覺而已. 因為佢地真係要搞民主, 一早就已經搞左啦, 駛等到果個時候咩.
