Actually, in Edmonton, witner driving isn't that bad, as most the time, -20c or lower, and pack of snow ..
Problem for Calgary, as one of the worst witner driving city, since it could be -30c one day, then + 2 or 3 degree the next day, (snow melt, water/ice all over) then back to -30c the day after, and snow .. etc and etc ..
Which means .. could be PURE ICE under snow, then ice, then snow, then rain .. on and on .. very tricky!
I drive in Vancouver once a while, it isn't that bad, (to me) however, you dont know who is the C9 in front of behind you! (similar problem here too!)
As you said, it is important to pay more attention, and more alert ... try to look ahead at least 4 or 5 cars .. |
