no, L1 is a 4/3 format, not a micro 4/3 format

compared to the L1, the E-P1 is only slightly lighter and smaller (with optical viewfinder and 4/3 converter) but much more expensive.

I got my brand new L1 with Leica kit lens 14-50mm f2.8 for less than the retail price of E-P1 body only.

An E-P1 with Leica 14-50mm would cost $2000 at retail price
An E-P1 with Leica 14-150mm would cost $2500 at retail price

Also, I expect there will be more improvements on the E-P1 in the near future, but the L1 is a dead model.  You are not gonna find any new model that looks like it.

So, I did go to the photo walk on Sat, it was fun, since I've picked to go to a city which I wouldn't be going if it wasn't because of the photo-walk.  It's supposed to be a 2 hours walk, but turned out to be 3 hours, so it was quite a long walk.  There was a guy who was crazy enough to carry 3 DSLRs with him, but othewise most of us are just there for the fun, with minimal amount of gears.

The lens I used the most is the Lens-Baby, which I have to admit was fun to play with!!

Yes, I did enjoy my time there =D

Is yours the 3G or Comp?

I like the effect from the 3G more .. but not so handy ..  lost the "Fun+snap" idea of lensbaby ..  so I end up got the Comp ... however, effect is not as strong as the 3G ... dont know if I will get the 3G one as well ..  ( look weird too )

I have the comp.  came across it like 2 months ago, and this is probably my first time really have it on the camera for real shooting!!  But it's kind of fun...!  And the effect is quite extreme for my taste, since I was actually shooting it at f/5.6 add-on.

What do you think about this one!?  It's not that special..but I wonder if people know how the effect was created on the left side of the picture!?  Non-Photoshop!
