Interesting news from news1130... but it's a good reminder for ppl who made extra/unwanted reservation to either give it away to friends/lyks or call to cancel it.
Mind your manners during Dine Out

It’s time to expand your dining horizons with Dine Out Vancouver, which officially starts Wednesday. Judith Lane writes about food for the Georgia Strait, among other publications, and says reservations are already completely booked for some restaurants, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be full. “The biggest challenge is people who reserve at 10 different restaurants for them and their 5 friends, and don’t cancel the ones they don’t go to. That’s hideous, it’s mean, it costs the restaurants a lot of money, there are waiting lists, other people want to be there, so please cancel.” There is a silver lining to the jerkitude. Even if a restaurant’s fully booked, go there and be prepared to wait. You might be able to luck into a table if someone else no-shows. |

Now I cannot find an appetizer, nor main, nor dessert that I want. They took all the dishes that I planned to order away. I had the mussels last year so I want to try something different this time
