Maybe that's in HK! Not here wor! I have found both Vancouver-Chinese & Seattle folks very picky la!

It's possible that they have seen enough of wedding photos, and know what to expect to be good!

Knowing how to talk however would be part of the requirements, since that's how you communicate with the couple =D

Speaking as a professional photographer, it is actually the photographer responsibility to select the better photos, and discard the crappy ones.

eg. I always take a couple more shots for the important group shots, since I know it's very likely that someone would blink their eyes..! And at the end, I would only pick the best 1 or 2 for the clients, and exclude the ones that don't look right..!

Or if I accidentlly show my finger on the photo, I for sure would either crop it, or discard it if I have better one available.

The photog. mention editing is not included in the package, but don't you think the photos should require little to no editing in the first place???

EL, you are right .. here (Van and Seattle) are very different .. people here, are in general more picky .. however, price is 2-3 times more here too .. (labor cost is much higher ... )

Some photographers I know here, they take good pic, but send to China for touch up, (skin +teeth + eyes, or even SLIM the body ... ) so .. instead of spending 30 hours .. just spend $100 or so ....
