Not necessary, I saw some really decent and livable coach-house,
will post some pic to prove.
It took almost a year to complete and perfect for  young couples.
Well, if you have enough money to invest on a  new free-standing house in Vancouver,
it is not for you then

Most farmers here are Indians, not Chinese. Please go out and know more people, not only Chinese.

Many Indians stay in Surrey in big houses. Many rich Hong Konger still stay in Richmond, but Hong Kong has 200,000 Canadian citizens.

Most immigrants from China are professionals with education. They are the working class. They are not rich tycoons with cash to buy big houses and fancy cars.
Rich immigrants come from all over the world. Many rich Europeans, Americans and middle eastern people invest in real estate here, driving up prices.
