Who would have thought that Sigma, with its comparatively tiny budget and short history of producing cameras, would release one of the most important compact digital models of 2008, and perhaps of all time?

The Sigma DP1 is not a great people camera thanks to the 16mm wide-angle lens, but it is an interesting solution for landscape and other scenic photography...

Well I been meaning to post a recognizable self-portrait at some point but I really don't like being photographed. Didn't mean to crop out half my face again but it's hard to frame without looking. And I don't normally smile naturally so the compo will have to do.
