今日見淘淘居賣11.95/磅兩食,條件要另叫2个小菜,千祈不要去'黃苦x' 出名cheat磅.去年我訂枱一席king crab 10人套餐,避免受cheat 磅氣啦,點知去到部長說耒貨king crab太大,鱼缸沒有小,要我們從新砰一只,crab看來8磅但叫13磅,結果要補5磅差價,大概cad70.00,另一cheating 手法。好嘢呢.

that's what I did too.
bought it from t&t cos it's on discount
and had them chop it up for me
i cut the tubes open with scissors before steaming it.
dip it in butter or straight up.

i dunno how to get fancy with the sauce :p
butter is over the top for me already

i would recommend some lemon for dipping sauce too
tastes very fresh that way.
the crab already have salty sea water taste to it..seasoning shouldn't be complicated.

How is 怡園? How much do they charge for 2 "dishes"? I am not crazy about the fried rice served on the shell.

I went to 淘淘居.. ok la.. I ordered two King Crabs.  I told the waiter to get good size crab for me..  Well, i went out to park the car while he brought the crab to our table, in which my fds didn't look carefully.. ended up, one small one large.  Damn.. the small one of course no much meat la.   actually i was a bit disappointed lor.   but that's my bad.  i should have stayed and examine the crab.  Fxxk it.

we have tried the Grand Dynasty next to Grand Villa Casino $13.80 per lb. Suprisingly good (in terms of flavor, texture and freshness) and lots of meat...

We are not really big fans of those 3-4 styles of crab dishes, so I am totally fine with only 1 eat as long as it's fresh and steamed to perfection. Kinda depends on what you want.

自己整我都試過, 但其實唔差得幾多錢, 我自己就費事煩

怡園係個蟹身真係整得幾香口, 但地方真係唔坐得耐..

    Most restaurants selling AKC are doing well,
    they move a lot of crabs,  20+ crabs a day,
    not bad for this time of economy
