According to your list, I have 5.5.  Guess I'm more "Canadian" than most LYK.  

However, I don't agree that you have a good sampling.  The group of Canadian I know are only half as what you said.

By reading those again, I found those 3 are quite extreme, I really wonder how many of LYK here match more than 2 points  out of those 3.
Or the people which LP knows are those halfly retired hk people (especially those aunt and uncles) who brought bunch of $$ when they migrated to here

well... believe it or not.. those were the people I deal with daily, mainly through work

well, I dont know, maybe u working in a big financial company and your office has lots of high rank employees/directors/managers around u. I have worked for a few companies since I was a co-op, as I remember, I dont see anyone, including CEO, directors, managers, seniors.....juniors, etc. NONE of them can do like that, especially the part that "not working in half a year"

again, the ones I only see who can do that are those hk rich uncles and aunties.....

seriously I am very curious about how many people can have such lives...主流社會﹐???? in which planet?

funny when I read your post... looks like you know all these CEOs, directors, managers, seniors.....juniors, etc.  when you worked as a co-op, that's amazing... and good for you

you must be super smart so that you were invited in all these seniors' meetings, gatherings, etc.

It is actually quite common for above mid-age local to have a vacation home somewhere.  I know few have that, which also includes early HK immigrates.  At that time, out town properties are pretty cheap.  Non of mid-age or below Canadian have cash for doing that.
