So you are saying you and I are the same? LOL
I just ask you a question, you just answer it, regardless of when I may go back to Hong Kong.

No need to fight.  You have ignore many of my questions while I almost answered all your questions in the past.   I do not need to tell you the reason why I stay here and so do you.  I just want to show you people do not have to move to the states just because the stuff is cheap there just as you think China is great but you do not have to move back to China.  Period.

As usual, I was just joking with you, don't be so serious.
I asked you many logical questions before, but you just deflected most of them without answering.

"表姊溫哥華家中,也幫表姊帶兩大箱共46公斤行李"

I used to work in the airport doing baggage service with airlines and customs at arrivals.
Single oversea traveler carry two full load (specially over-weighted) luggages is always a red flag.

Majority of them will get search.
Fail to explain( without a decent answer) and uncooperative attitude will get deported for sure.

It happens in the airport every week.

From what i see here, too many clothes, and for sure not for herself, need to declare in the custom declaration card.

I have a feeling that she lied to customs. about the clothing is for herself use at the begining.
Lie to customs when they already suspect your intention, will get a bigger penalty then telling the truth.

Tell the truth, you pay taxes and you enter.
Tell lies (or fail to comply correctly), you violated the customs law, and you get deported.

Trust me, the customs knows very well about asian culture about bringing things around.

if you in the carousel area everyday, you will see many asian has been tag to have "special clearance" just because they have over amount of luggage.
First law: Every body remains in a state of rest or uniform motion unless it is acted upon by an external unbalanced force.

Personal baggage
As a visitor, you can bring certain goods into Canada for your own use as "personal baggage." Personal baggage includes clothing, camping and sports equipment, cameras and personal computers. It also includes vehicles, private boats and aircraft.

You must declare all goods when you arrive at the CBSA port of entry. Border services officers do conduct examinations of goods being imported or exported to verify declarations. If you declare goods when you arrive and take them back with you when you leave, you will not have to pay any duty or taxes. These goods cannot be used by a resident of Canada or on behalf of a business based in Canada, be given as a gift to a Canadian resident or disposed of or left in Canada.
The border services officer may ask you to leave a security deposit for your goods, which will be refunded to you when you export the goods from Canada. Should this occur, the officer will issue a Form E29B (PDF, 497 KB), Temporary Admission Permit, retain a copy and give you one for your records. When you leave Canada, present your goods and your copy of Form E29B to the officer who will give you a receipt copy of the form and your security deposit will be refunded by mail.

Gifts
You can import gifts for friends into Canada duty- and tax-free as long as each gift is valued at CAN$60 or less. If the gift is worth more than CAN$60, you will have to pay duty and taxes on the excess amount. You cannot claim alcoholic beverages, tobacco products or business-related material as gifts.

Looks like she mixed up gifts (even tho they are used and old as claim by the cousin) with personal baggage. She may not need to pay tax but she has to declare it or at least tell the truth when being questioned by the officers.

Why ask someone to come and visit if it is so much hassel? Who would want to come to an unfriendly country anyway?

我買多咗野,報多過$750 FOR LONG TRIPS,去SEATTLE ONE DAY我話買左成$300幾蚊野,D海關都照比我過,仲冇叫我比DUTY。。。

From new's link @ Vancouver Sun:
" Lee, who speaks Mandarin, said a translator was brought in to help with communications, but she said the conversation went only one way, with her own questions to the English-speaking border agents going ignored. Information she did provide was also lost in the translation, she said, and she was denied the opportunity to phone her Canadian contacts for help"
DENY TO CALL FOR HELP啦。
