well, that is quite a bit under $500, unless you can share a basement. Usually if you want to rent a place for yourself with all that, probably $600 at least?

I'll soon have my basement for rent, but it's 3 rooms and you can share the dining room/kitchen/bathroom lor. however, it might be a month or two before it is ready, when would you need the place by? right away? or just some time in the future? (price should be around $1200, 3 way split should be $400/person?) ample parking space, bus stop, close to skytrain as well

yeah... the only problem is sharing the washroom.
That is a big inconvenience.

My friend just rented a one room for $550 in BBY, bottom floor of a brand new house (like... one month old). One room, private kitchen, private bathroom, private entrance.

Good Luck, there should be LOTS out there.

Wow. That's a good deal.
It's really hard to find ones close to skytrain station or VERY close to a bus station.

There are lots out there..
too bad no car lar.. otherwise, there are a lot more choices out there.
