And with tax? how much total?

I booked JAL ..  $1500 ar ..    (van-cal is ~ $400 with tax/fee already)

Anyway ..  if we talk in "English"  --> GO Hong Kong (去香港)..   vs RETURN to Hong Kong (反hk)  ... then it does make sense to say GO HK ...  

Just wording jei .. the main point is the cheap ticket price .. lol

Now .. your vancouverian .. can GO HK all the time la...

I'd personally say "going back to HK" even in english when speaking to my Caucasian friends.  and of course, 返香港, when speaking in cantonese.

However, unlike many people, i have zero intention to move back to HK, vancouver is my home, and don't even have an intention to going back to HK for a visit.

HK is just a place I born in, where my root is. So i guess, even for me, saying 返香港 is absolutely correct. If i have to visit HK in the future (most likely either red event or white event), I will say to others that I am going back to HK or 返香港.

To be fair, to comment/argue the term "返香港" or "去香港" could be offending already. But we don't necessary see it like that, right? Whether to use "返", "去", "go back", "visit", "travel", ....... whatever the people like to use in order to express themselves la, no need to argue like that, OK?!
