【明報專訊】大溫地區出現了一名可以同時進行多項任務的巴士司機。一段上載到YouTube網站的影片顯示，一名岸山巴士的司機一面開車，一面拿?一枝筆在玩數獨(Sudoku)。影片引起大眾對於巴士安全問題的重視，岸山巴士公司已就事件進行調查。

據溫哥華區報《Metro Vancouver》報道，市民麥當勞(Gordon McDonald)是在周一傍晚在素里搭乘巴士時，拍下上述影片。麥當勞稱，「我只搭乘了約十個街口，而他(司機)幾乎從我上車，便開始一直玩到尾。」

麥當勞認為，司機這麼做完全不恰當，不僅可能危及巴士上的約20名乘客，也危及路上的其他車輛。麥當勞說，他在之前的一個星期一，也在同一輛巴士上，看到該名巴士司機在看雜誌，當時的交通狀況走走停停，而路面則是陰雨濕滑。

岸山巴士公司發言人扎貝爾(Derek Zabel)表示，雖然沒有明確規定司機不可以在駕車時做什麼，但公司要求司機應該遵守法令，且要使用基本常識(common sense)，「我們的司機經過6星期的訓練，目的就是為了行車安全。」

扎貝爾稱，公司要求司機每6到8秒鐘，就要看一下後視鏡，並且隨時注意路面情況，「如果你在玩數獨，你根本不可能做到(上述要求)。」

至於司機是否會受到處分，扎貝爾說，這將是公司與僱員之間的事。他說如果司機因此造成車禍，將會依據法例進行起訴。

沒有明確規定便應該檢討為何沒有囉 連乘客 (SKYTRAIN 有﹐巴士唔知有無) 都有很多規定 (例如不可大開收音機﹐不可飲食之類﹐請參考車站看板)﹐點解司機可以沒有﹖

Of course people can all drive safely but the question is that does he have enough reaction time when accident is about to happen?

For that split second the drive took his eyes away from the road to the paper, unexpected things might happen and he might not have enough time to react to it neither.

係呀﹐成街D私家車司機也一樣﹐講手機係普遍﹐好多真係咩都會做﹐所以溫哥華特別多車禍

probably from 2010, we are not allow to talk on cell during driving.  but the bus driver is ok to
play sudoku???

if this is not a problem, why stop us talking on the cell while driving.  
if this is not a problem, there should be no speed limit.  before an accident happened, everyone believe he drive safely.

以前響香港寫明巴士行駛中唔可以同司機講野﹐唔知呢邊有無呢樣規矩呢﹖ 如果有﹐即係連傾計都驚分心﹐點可以玩 GAME 或者看雜誌呢﹖ 好離譜遮。。。
