After doing the research online, I noticed that the SRS light on is the common issue that happens to 2001-2008 Honda Civic n Accord. American Honda has a lifetime warranty on safety parts for Honda's n even asked for a recall. Same problem is happening to my car n Honda Canada refused to pay for it.

For all ppl who r driving 2001-2008 Honda Civic n Accord, pls be-aware of this issue.

Problems: SRS light is on, after bought it back to Honda, I got the code 9-03 Driver Seat Belt Buckle Faulty.

Note: I never ever crashed my car n after doing tons of research, I noticed that this is a common problem to Civic n Accord. If ur SRS light is not on, it means that it's not yet being on. Good Luck

since it's a common issue to most Civic n Accord, it may also happen to urs, it only depends on what.. my car has the light on when it was closed to 80,000km.. some ppl have it on when it was 130,000km.. it varies on when will the light be on

I will not buy Honda again, they have so many problems, beside airbag, like transmission and alternator...etc. because they using american part.   unless Japan made.

I remeber I had the srs light problem too, but my srs light is on and off around 2500 rpm, Middlegate Honda could not found the problem, tell me nothing wrong and charger me $100, after I got the car back leaving the building, the light come on again, so I went back ask them to check again, they said they have no time, please schedule another day to do a investigate, it might cause few hours, no refund job had been done, rediculous. So I went to Vancouver Honda ask them to check my alternator, then they found the problem is the alternator fault. if u know nothing about the car, just tell them to check, they will fool you around to rip you off.

I heard from the Van Honda mechanics that the alternators, especially on the accord V6, are supplied by a supplier which primarily supplied those crappy bailed-out US auto companies.  They are cheaper for Honda, but they are very problematic.  High failure rate.

Honda sucks some time.  While you're not buying Honda, problem is to find another brand which suck less.  Take it easy.

Honda cars in general has very few problem and very reliable.  Most of the time i figured conflicts are between vehicle owner and dealership and have nothing to do Honda or the car by itself.

My family have owned at least 5 Hondas in the last 15 years and I am very happy with their cars.

It is hard to find a car that is more reliable than Honda/Toyota nowaday.
