A white gal frd is wishing to go for hotpot with us.
We work DT and thinking of taking the Canada Line down to Richmond one evening.
I personally love Cattle but it's quite a walk from the station,
How about 滾1滾火煱 and 英記?
Are they all you can eat and what's the price range?

Yea, KK Dollar is quite interesting, in terms of the style, but foods are not that special.

For 英記, really, not much to comment about. Foods are OK but it's also not cheap.

Always nice to have coupons. I tried KK Hot Pot before too, like you said, the foods are not super special, but I think it's OK la.
Under $25, they will count the total by the food you ordered, but over $25, it will become AYCE automatically.

went to 滾一滾  NEVER again!


They stated sour plum and chrysanthemum tea are included. When ordered, they said Chrysanthemum isn't available. They should at least offer a free pop or something. Scanning down the list, their selection isn't as good compare to some other Eat you can Orr places. But this wasn't as bad compare to ...

$22.50 / person plus soup base. We had a group of 7. Their tables are set up so that each 2 or 3 people need to share 1 element. We had to get a total of 3 pots! (The elements are build into the the tables very close to your settings). This forces people to pay $7/8 more per pot so with a group of 7, we paid $24 just for the soup base! One of us asked the waitress about this. She said if we don't want to order that many pots, we have to sit closer. This is really impossible lor coz even sitting closer, the elements are positioned so that you can't reach unless you are sitting right in front of them like individual hot pot! Oh, and the soups were not all that good either!

We had a baby in the group who we were feeding him his own baby food even seeing this, the waitress came over to state we have 8 people. We said the baby can't eat hotpot and see, we are feeding him his own food! The waitress still went on trying confirm his age. We said 2.5 yrs old. She said, ok, this time, we won't charge him then. But she said it in a way that made us feel she's only doing it as a big exception!

Food quality, especially the beef was very bad! The beef wasn't fat enough! After cooking, they turned very dark and tough!!!!! We told the waitress and she said coz it's all you can eat, the quality is downgraded ga la! It's not the first time I have hotpot. I've been to all of the hotpot places in town and never had beef so bad-all you can eat or not! I peaked over to the table behind us which didn't get all you can eat. Even their corn was nicer! Ours were nearly white color, very tough and were the end pieces! The veggies had some bad pieces and browned leafs we had to pick out ourselves. Also, not all the food came. We had to keep asking them to bring out what's missing.

Oh, dessert was included. It was Jah Jah. Tasteless like water was added!

For this price and food quality, and service, , I %^$!@#&, black listed!
