I used to own a Procelain Series flat iron, bought from US.  Now it's broken (burned fuse I think...) so need to get a new one here...any recommendation?  ConAir? Braun?  Thanks!!

mine's a ceramic one.. from conair...~ it's cheap.. around $30+
it heats up in a min
it gets the job done for me in 5 mins.. and i have very long and thick hair

so u can just use it while u're blowdrying your hair, and this will save you alot of time
no need to blowdry then get it straighten again.

i have KCQ X-heat... my friend's hairdresser friend got it for me for $150 including tax. retail sells $229 + tax.
i've had it for....2-3 weeks, & i love it!! the curls stay for the entire night (even after heavy dancing all night in a club. & straightening is SOOOO SMOOOOTH).

now i so regret for buying those cheap cheap curling irons & flat irons. they're such a waste of $ dammit.
