Working in / Immigrating to Canada?

本帖最後由 kayllis 於 2010-3-12 19:29 編輯

my friend is currently living in HK... and he's thinking of coming here to work... or immigrating here...
does anyone know what kind of requirements there are to work here?
or any sites that I can find the info from?

does 中僑 provide help with this kind of situations?

also i think he's an electrician (i don't quite exactly remember), but does anyone know if Hong Kong qualifications different from the ones here?
and is it easier to get a permit to work here if he's a skilled worker?

thanks=]

for electrician, you get one license in hk and do almost everything, but you need separate license for different things.
it will be easier if his skill is needed here & if an employer apply the permit for him

    as far as I know, most electrician is self-employed ga wor
ask someone in food industry to hire him as waiter or cook first, then he will have a higher chance

Actually if he can cook other country's specialty food and is willing to go to Manitoba, the chance is much higher.

he still has to get a working permit before working here for 2 years right?@@
