Zue's Lazy Japanese cheesecake
本帖最後由 zuesel 於 2010-4-17 01:00 編輯
I used to just follow the recipe on creamcheese packages. However, don't like NewYork style too much. I want much softer ones. I was too lazy to research so I made my own version. I didn't have a name for it. My friend tried, said it's lite and just like Japanese ones. He said it's not filling and had 2 slices!
Preheat oven 350 degrees
Crust (optional amount):
Graham wafer crumbs
Butter (melted)
Sugar
Mix, press onto bottom of pan, bake 10 mins.
Filling:
2 pks of cream cheese (room temperature)
1 bottle Danactive yogurt
2 eggs
1 eggwhite
1 capfull Vanilla extract
Sugar (adj to taste)
Mix all of the above (except eggs and eggwhite) well.
Mix in eggs one at a time
Mix eggwhite separately until stiff
Fold into creamcheese mixture
Pour onto crust
Bake 40 mins
Hubby loves thick crust..kind of weird looking but yummy.
Friend brought icecream over. But I recommend whip topping or without! |
