Since my mom already had lunch plans with her own friends, I met her after lunch and took her to Steveston Village. We chatted and walked along the "seawall" and then had ice-cream with the fresh waffle cones. ^_^ Just a lazy afternoon. But I think she enjoyed it.
No celebration...since my mom and MIL are both out of town...
But my mom is happy to receive my card and gift. She said my Dad had a good laugh when he saw the card.
