Most of the wedding shops are in Richmond. Some shops only rent "used" gowns, or very high price for new gowns. Here are some: 老查 is an option, Ora needs to pay deposit before trying on (I heard of), or 紅娘's another one.. ohoh, and the new place.. iwed, most of their dresses are new, you can try too.
I have 2 very close friends who had bad experiences with them. One of them, I actually accommodated her to go there and try to get thing straight. Well....
Well, originally I was debating on whether to rent wedding gown here or to buy one in HK...
I went to HN wedding couple weeks ago and had a quick look on their gowns, seemed nothing special there, and not a lot of selections either... and everyone in their pics picked the same style! I have my own photographer so really I just need to find a dress and evening gown.
If it costs $400+ to rent a gown here, I wonder if it's a better deal for me to buy one in HK instead? My only concern is the time it takes to make one (or find one off the rack if I'm lucky)... and I don't really know which shops in HK that sells decent looking gowns
