hi... wife couldn't get days off until late Sep and we want to go to Calgary, Jasper, Banff etc and we want to drive ourselves just so we can enjoy our time as long as we wish. just want to know if the weather is worth it to go there so late in the year? or should we pick another place?

depends your luck ..  still snow/hail/rain now in July/Aug ... so, go figure!

Last yr, when my buddy came in May/June .. snow a lots, the year before, my other friend came in Nov, very nice, warm and sunny!

    That is very true .. and not just in different month ...

Could be in SAME DAY .. will see very nice sun, blue sky, then rain all the sudden like crazy, (not like mild rain in Vancouver) then snow, hail, storm ..  within hours ..
