slideshow 太平洋國家展覽館（PNE）每年嘉年華時都會同步舉辦百萬夢幻屋的抽獎活動，今年的幸運得主於8日揭曉，一位住在溫市的香港移民欣喜獲獎。夢幻屋將於卑詩省基隆那（Kelowna）重組，明年將可正式入住。

61歲的華裔黃麗娥英文名為Cecilia Garcia，從香港移居加拿大已有數十年，現在溫市經營髮型屋的生意。她是在8月25日時花了25元購買五張夢幻屋的抽獎獎券，中得價值120萬元的夢幻屋大獎。


其實黃麗娥並非馬上知道自己就是幸運兒。當8日下午溫市市議員雷健華抽出夢幻屋的幸運得主時，她正在參加活動並將手提電話關閉，結果晚上回家後看到電話答錄機內有超過60個留言，聆聽後才知道自己是幸運得主。


黃麗娥9日早上在家人陪同下，於PNE主席暨執行長麥丹尼（Michael McDaniel）手中接過鑰匙後，首度參觀了樓高兩層，內附52吋平面電視等高級家具的夢幻大屋。由於購買摸彩券時太多人排隊，因此9日也是她第一次參觀夢幻屋。


夢幻屋將先拆解，並於基隆那的著名景點，面對著奧肯那根湖的Kirschner山，對於日後是否會將夢幻屋作為度假別墅或是轉賣，心情興奮的黃麗娥表示尚未有規畫，但自己尚未有退休計畫，或搬離現在於溫市克次蘭奴區（Kitsilano）的居所

When I first looked at her name, I thought she was a Caucasian and when I saw her picture, I thought she must be a Filipino. I was shocked when the newspaper said her last name was Wong.

It is part of the deal, you win, you have to help them to advertise.
I surely wouldn't mind if I won a million dollars house.
