it really depends on your employer. but usually for full-time, you at least get a 30-min lunch plus 15-min breaks. the place I work for now gives a 1 hour lunch plus 2 breaks. i have also heard some places don't have set lunch hours and you can go for as long as you want (2-3 hrs), as long as you get work done.

what kind of place are you working at? it also depends on your field. a lot of office jobs don't have set lunch hours or time, but most retail would almost be dead set on the time since your lunches has to be in shifts.

Am I entitled to a break?

Your boss has to give you a meal break of at least 30 minutes after you work 5 hours in a row. If you're required to be available for work during your meal break, it has to be counted as time worked. Employers are not required to provide coffee breaks.

Is there even a standard for this?

For me, 7+ hr shift = 30 min paid and 30 min unpaid break.
5-6 hrs = 15 paid and 30 min unpaid break
4 hrs = 15 paid break

"Employers are not required to provide coffee breaks."  From the link Ken provided.

We do not have coffee breaks and only has less than 30 minutes lunch break.  We pratically eat lunch in out station.  I do try to walk around the office every couple hours.
