溫總首開腔﹕立即放人 否則後果自負 分析家, 北京

【明報專訊】前赴紐約出席聯合國大會的國務院總理溫家寶，昨首度開腔評論釣魚島漁船事件，強烈敦促日方立即無條件釋放中國船長詹其雄，成為撞船事件17天以來表態的中國最高級官員。他表示，中方多次嚴正交涉，日方置若罔聞，中國政府「不得不採取必要的反制措施」。分析家相信，北京將以經濟懲罰手段向日本施壓。日本官員雖呼籲兩國盡快舉行首腦和外長級會談來打破目前僵局，但重申會依據日本國內法處理事件。


「不得不採取必要反制措施」

溫家寶當地時間周二下午抵達紐約，他當晚會見華僑時說﹕「釣魚島是中國的神聖領土。日方最近在釣魚島海域抓扣中國漁民和漁船，至今不釋放中方船長，這是完全非法的、無理的，已經對中方船長及其家人造成嚴重傷害，並激起海內外全體中國人的憤怒。中方多次嚴正交涉，日方置若罔聞，中國政府不得不採取必要的反制措施。在此，我強烈敦促日方立即無條件放人。如果日方一意孤行，中方將進一步採取行動，由此產生的一切嚴重後果，日方要承擔全部責任。」

溫家寶又說，經多年艱苦努力，中日關係得到改善發展，這一良好勢頭遭到嚴重破壞，完全是日方一手造成，日本政府應當迅速改變錯誤做法，使中日關係回到正確軌道。

日本官房長官仙谷由人昨早曾稱，「國內法的程序進展雖然重要，但是思考與鄰國的國家戰略互惠關係中，怎樣實質推進和面向未來更重要」，認為還是盡快舉行高層次會談好。但外相前原誠司則口氣強硬，堅稱尖閣諸島（釣魚島）屬日本，「不存在領土爭議」，問及何時放人，他仍強調會「依據日本的國內法進行嚴肅處理」。

中國外交部發言人姜瑜昨晚指摘日方狡辯站不住腳，「日方只有立即糾正錯誤，無條件放還中方船長，才能避免兩國關係受到進一步傷害。玩弄欺騙世人和國際輿論的把戲是沒有出路的」。

中日釣魚島糾紛升溫，波及外交和民間交流各領域。日本「秋田亞洲環境論壇」執委會昨稱，中國駐日大使程永華臨時取消出席論壇；浙江大學藝術團昨亦取消原定下月在日本多所大學舉行的公演計劃。昨天在奈良舉行的亞太經濟合作（APEC）旅遊部長級會議上，日本國土交通相拒與中方代表會晤，中國代表團也拒絕出席日方主持的歡迎會。共同社報道，廣島市計劃在11月舉行APEC會議期間，邀請達賴喇嘛等出席無核化研討會，勢將引發中國不滿。

北京大學國際關係學院副教授梁雲祥認為，溫總除向世界宣示中國在此問題上「絕不妥協讓步」，亦是要向美國傳遞信息﹕希望美國考慮中美大局，不要在釣魚島問題上支持日本。內地環球網報道，伊朗國家廣播網報道認為，中日是次糾紛，是外部勢力為阻東亞地區國家聯合而策劃的陰謀，幕後黑手是美國。

The way Japan arrests the fisherman, and leave no venue for negotiation... makes me think of how Iran detained foreigners and how North Korea detained foreigners due to 'domestic laws' a while back...

Disputing territory is one thing, but not willing to negotiate over the detention of the a foreigner due to 'dometic legal issues' is quite another... If the fisherman illegally entered Japanese territory, isn't the right action deportation? Even if they claim the fishing vessel rammed Japanese ships, at the very least diplomatic channel should be opened to help determine whether the fisherman can be trialled in China, etc?

Despite being a glittering orderly modern society, the Japanese gov't (at least a good portion of it) haven't seem to have gone very far from their old and somewhat barbaric ways...

Wiki article titles it as 'Senkaku Island' however.

Can't believe with so many Chinese people on this globe, not a single one opened a Wiki dispute over the wiki-article title. Until there's a clear conclusion to the dispute, it really shouldn't be titled as such.

Maybe all the LYK's here should do it now. We can protest to wikipedia for the misinformation. If they are pro-US and  pro-Japan, what can we do next?

Wikipedia is written by the average people. You can dispute the content to moderators. Very easy. You can even re-write the whole page if you really want LOL. Obviously other can contest what you write also.

If you can put up a good argument that the current article is not objective and biased, and can suggest how they can make the article more objective and neutral, I'm sure the mod will take heed and let you do a change and let the change stay for good.

I just find it strange that given all this so called 'Chinese Nationalism', that no one have done something about at least, the Wiki article title.
