What happened to the west coast whiners?
Most agree drivers handled yesterday's snowfall well

LOWER MAINLAND (NEWS1130) - By all accounts, the Lower Mainland survived the first big snowfall of the season fairly well. Everybody seemed to be on their best "snow behaviour."

Could it be we finally learned how to handle "Old Man Winter" on the left coast? Talking to drivers this morning, most say it wasn't too crazy yesterday. Maybe the snow started early enough that some people stayed home.

We did speak to one man who says it wasn't all winter wonderland. "I saw a few crazy people on the roads yesterday. One big van had snow over all the windows except one little peephole to drive through. I saw someone spinning out.

There has to be some reason for the rest of Canada to make fun of us...
