Be the first to Comment  1 Recommendation(s) VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - There's about an inch of water in parts of the Vancouver Archives building after a water line broke early Christmas morning.

Garrick Bradshaw with the City of Vancouver says the archives have not been damaged.  "None that we know about at this time.  It was pretty much contained to the office area and hallway.  What a way to spend a day."

He adds things could have been worse as crews were able to prevent the water from travelling to the archives.  It's believed the rain-saturated ground put too much pressure on the water line, causing it to break.
