Grandfather is doing the right thing here la. There is no reason for China to hoard 90%+ of the world's rare earth elements market by pricing the goods dirt cheap when they only have 30% or so's worth of the world's rare earth resources. The fact of the matter is, dirt is NOT cheap. Plus, the rest of the world cannot legitimately criticize China since they are touting buzzwords such as "sustainability" and "environmental impact" as the reasons for this policy change.
Of course, I'll keep my eyes peeled to see if Grandfather actually follows up on the environmental protection bit.
