Pedestrian killed in Langley
67-year-old was crossing 200 St.

1 Comment(s) 4 Recommendation(s) LANGLEY (NEWS1130) - A 67-year-old man from Langley is dead after he was hit by a pickup while crossing 200 St. at 64 Ave. Tuesday at around 6 p.m.
Sgt. Ravi Pawar with Langley RCMP says the pedestrian may have made a bad decision at the intersection.
"He made it half way through the intersection and got to the median. But then northbound traffic proceeded because the light had turned green for them. For unknown reason, he proceeded to walk onto the crosswalk and he was struck by a northbound truck," explains Pawar.
The man died in an air ambulance on the way to hospital.
