長者醫院昏倒護士袖手 Stephen, 和平, 消防

人在生病時前往醫院求診是常理，但到了醫院範圍內，仍要打911電召救護員則有點匪夷所思。一位年近90歲的素里長者，近日則親歷這種情況。   

布雷布魯克（Stephen Braybrooke）周四帶同86歲父親到白石鎮（White Rock）和平門醫院（Peace Arch Hospital）求診，父親到6樓為手部照X光後，在電梯門口突然昏倒，布雷布魯克於是大聲呼叫求助。但周邊的護士卻未有即時施援，只願替他們打911緊急求助電話。這時他的父親仍在地上不省人事。
救護車趕到 6樓轉送地下
但是經過大約9分鐘之後，救護人員及消防員才由院外抵達，把當事人由6樓送到樓下的急症室。
布雷布魯克對Global電視台記者表示，對件事件難以理解。他說，事情令人討懨、震驚及遺憾，因為在20呎外的一群專業人士及醫護人員，竟然不能協助。

有無搞錯？！簡直係溫哥華版嘅人愛醫院事件！

如果係 clinical assistants 唔識幫手救人嘅話都可以接受，但 9分鐘之內都無醫護來幫手就太唔掂。
