Police aren't able to determine gender or age

   NORTH VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - A body has been found in a quiet North Vancouver neighborhood this afternoon.

It was found in a white plastic bag in a wooded area near Kirkstone Park around 1 o'clock.

Police suspect foul play was involved, but say they don't know how long the body was there for. They are not confirming what the gender or the age of the victim is. An autopsy is expected to take place in the coming days.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team, forensic team and police dogs are sweeping through the area looking for evidence. Meanwhile, all traffic in the area is blocked, including the entrance to the park. Investigators will be going door to door tonight and tomorrow looking for clues.
