Rain and wind warnings in effect for Metro Vancouver
Rain and wind warnings in effect for Metro Vancouver
Want some chocolate with that whine?
We'll have to console ourselves with chocolates and candy as the wind kicks up and the rain pours down on this soggy Monday Valentine's Day.
Environment Canada has issued two warnings for the Metro Vancouver area: A southern system will give rain — heavy at times — to the North Shore mountains and Howe Sound, with snow heavy to Whistler through tonight; and strong southeast winds of 60 km/h with gusts to 90 km/h will spread to the Lower Mainland and Western Fraser Valley this evening.
Both wind and rain will ease late tonight as the combined fronts move inland and weaken.
