Bury it = give up = long term problem to the area around it.
The radiation will still go on underground and spread large radius for the next few decades.
They will have to bury them if it's total meltdown.
Bury the reactors would be the best source control method in the agenda, at least it cuts off the spread of further harmful nuclear dust...
Underground Water Pollution... It's obviously an issue, hope that there're not that many fault lines and aquifers in the surrondings... Modelling the plume development in this type of area is a nightmare...
