0    BURNABY (NEWS1130) - Lougheed Town Centre has been evacuated.

Burnaby Fire says there's smoke inside a wall somewhere in the mall but they haven't been able to pinpoint where it's coming from yet.

One of our listeners Kathy says traffic around the mall isn't moving. "It's a parking lot on the street. I went down the side street that goes to Wal-Mart and it's a nightmare."

There's also a power outage in the area affecting about 1,200 customers. BC Hydro says the problem should be fixed by 7:30 tonight.
