i want to drop one course but the gosfu.ca course drop is inaccessible.
i am going to drop the course in person at the registrar tmw, i wonder anyone had drop a course past the refund date? if so, did u drop it thru gosfu or in person?

this is my 1st time to have a course dropped, so frustrating...

why do you want to drop now? can't handle the course? i think you have to pay penalty for dropping...

yeah, can't handle too much courses at once... need to drop one course in order to save my CGPA...

Speak to the department academic advisor, s/he can drop the course for you. I believe there is a form you have to fill out as well.

u might not be able to drop it, since it's week 8 already

i think you can always drop a course...its just you will have a W on your transcript if you drop it late in the term

i am going to see my faculty adviser tmw and see if i could drop a course with her permission, i hope she's understanding....

my midterm doesn't look too good so i want to drop it to avoid jeopardizing my CGPA.....

only my first job in my career life requires the transcript.
i did have one or two W on mine
as long as you can give reasonable explanation,
it is gonna be alright

Forget about dropping. The date to drop course passed already. You can only drop under extenuating circumstances.

That means the only case you can drop courses (and you will have to drop ALL your courses) is when you have an emergency you can finish your semester that is out of your control.

I have seen people saying family emergency and have to go back to HK... etc... you will need to show plane tickets when you come back, and of coz you will have to drop all of your classes. I haven't seen anybody successfully drop a class under WE because they cannot handle it. But that's faculty of business, I don't know about other faculty.

In terms of WD in transcript, it will just show that you have dropped a class. Not a biggie in my opinion. After you have graduated, who will check through your transcript in detail and mind a Withdrawal.
