VICTORIA (NEWS1130) - There will be a cap on fare increases at BC Ferries next year.
The provincial government has introduced legislation supporting a review of the coastal ferry system. It will give the BC Ferry Commissioner the power to recommend changes affecting ferry rates.
The review has been called to address public concern over those fares. A report will be issued early next year.
