0 VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - UFC 131 is taking place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver tonight.  Brock Lesnar is out, but the main event is still a heavyweight bout.

Shane Carwin and Junior Dos Santos are like a couple of big trucks on a head-on collision course.

Rogers Sportsnet MMA analyst "Showdown" Joe Ferraro says it's going to be a fast-paced fight.  "The minute the referee asks both of them, 'Are you ready?' 'Are you ready?  OK, let's go.'  As soon as he steps out of the way I wouldn't blink because these two guys have the power in both hands to strike very, very quickly."

Doors open at the arena at 2 p.m., preliminary fights on Rogers Sportsnet at 5 p.m.  The pay per view begins at 6 p.m.
