I haven't been to India myself but I know quite a few people had been to and worked in India. They did not have a very good impressions of India in many areas.

One person that I know is a Asia Pacific manager of a MNC (multi-national corporation) actually voluntarily gave up his managing responsibility of India to his counter-part who is the regional manager of Europe.  (btw, he is based in Boston, US. He has the execute that India is closer to Europe, but he is very happy to manage China. )

Oh.. really?  I personally haven't known anyone that love to go India more than other countries for travel except two cases:

1) Indians living in Canada

2) Cousin of my friend who is a 虔誠佛教徒 and went to India to visit the place where 釋迦牟尼頓悟.


Compare to China, will you say China is more popular or India?
