KELOWNA (NEWS1130) - Kelowna Mounties are looking for a man with a gunshot wound. One of the people hit in the Kelowna shooting that killed gangster Jonathan Bacon yesterday is still missing.
The other victims, including a full patch member of the Hells Angels, were taken to hospital, except for one who managed to run off before police showed up.
Supt. Bill McKinnon admits he's concerned a retaliation could be coming.
"I think retaliation is something we're very cautious of. Where it might happen, whether it happens in Kelowna or any community in this province is something that law enforcement officials are very leery of."
McKinnon adds it's very lucky no one else was hurt. He won't say whether police knew Bacon and a known Hells Angel were in Kelowna at the same time, or if police had them under surveillance. |
