This morning I found my car has big scratches around my car, on every door and fuel door...horrible! newer cars around me got the same thing, even cars on streets a couple blocks from my home have them..feel sorry for those Mercedes, BMWs, etc...apparently, the older cars are all fine...
I live in Van but close to Burnaby...I guess this is probably related to the 400 cars keyed at Silvercity Coquitlam...was there no security at Silvercity? It takes quite awhile to scratch 400 cars...
What a waste of time and money... once again it shows how weak the policing is in our city...
No, my car is not an expensive car but it's quite new (4 months). There's another brand new Accord got scratched too. I think that one is only a week's old...
On the more expensive cars MB & BMW, they get scratched if they "look" sort of new. Saw a MB CLK500, BMW Z4...
So is this slowly spreading into Vancouver now? This is a cross-municipal crime...I hope the police will look into it somewhat...sigh...no hope!
I wonder what kind of people would do this...it take awhile to walk around the block and scratch the doors on both sides of many cars...
Maybe the body shops are dropping in business so they hired some highschool kid to do all this???? LOL..."yum mau lun"

feel sorry for u, I got similar but far worse happen on me few months ago
but............
what can we expect from police?
if u are cops and u know that even if u catch thiefs/robbers like Jacky Chan's or Bruse Willies style, the judges and canadian law system (those human-right MORON associations) will protect those criminals and free them, rather than protecting us, the one who pay tax, will u just prefer slacking in Tim Hortons instead? I would!!
Also, security are only hired by those bosses for protecting those mall/cinemas properties, not their customers, sad for us
