Senior killed crossing street in Langley
It happened at 203 St. and 66 Ave.

0 LANGLEY (NEWS1130) - A man is in his 80s has been killed after being hit by an SUV at 203 St. and 66 Ave. in Langley.  It happened around 8 p.m. Thursday evening.

Police say the man was crossing in a poorly lit area, and the pavement was wet.

Meantime, a boy was airlifted to Children's Hospital after being hit by a van in Maple Ridge. That accident occurred near 248 St. and Dewdney Trunk Road.  It's believed he darted out in front of a stopped bus. The boy is expected to be okay.
