Apple's Steve Jobs Is Dead following, because, surgery, health, better

Apple co-founder and Chairman Steve Jobs died today, Apple said. He was 56.

"Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives," Apple said in a statement. "The world is immeasurably better because of Steve."

Jobs had been suffering from various health issues following the seven-year anniversary of his surgery for a rare form of pancreatic cancer in August 2004. Apple announced in January that he would be taking an indeterminate medical leave of absence, with Jobs then stepping down from his role as CEO in late August.

Jobs had undergone a liver transplant in April 2009 during an earlier planned six-month leave of absence. He returned to work for a year and a half before his health forced him to take more time off. He told his employees in August, "I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple's CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come."

One of the most legendary businessmen in American history, Jobs turned three separate industries on their head in the 35 years he was involved in the technology industry.

As an Apple shareholder, Steve Jobs has my highest respect.
His death is a big loss to Apple as Apple is Steve Jobs.

He is a no BS guy but direct to the business, and he delivered quarters
after quarters of revenue surprises!

my first Apple product was 1982 Apple II..then .. IIe.. IIc.. Lisa... Macintosh... and STOPed b4 iMac... since then I only play some demo, knowing it, NOT own any apple product. Apple is not best product, but, best marketing/image&domain building.  Steve was smart and top sales. RIP.

My only thing against him is how he brainwashed those apple fags that appearance is everything.

Look, it's all white!!!  How pretty!!!  You must buy it although it's not as powerful as PC and 40% more expensive!!  You should just buy it to show off to others to prove you can afford to waste your $$$.

Without him, all gadgets would have been much cheaper and focus on efficiency.

Worst propaganda:  Apple has better security than PC.  No body gives a rat ass about Mac doens't mean it is better, those dumb phucks...
