Sorry to say but I strongly recommend NOT to go to Richmond automall. And yes, the "farther" the dealership from central van, the possibly more advantages could be. "Free stuff" could be car mats, mud guards etc, something not really expensive but within $100-200 range most likely. You can also test drive the vehicle(s) you like first, and then do a sincere bargain. The more work they've done, the more chance they want to try their best to close a deal. But yes, be reasonable and polite.
Easy, leave them your name and number. If they follow up with you, means that they are interested in dealing, then you can negotiate with other offers on hand.
Thanks for all the comments.
Ya, I am looking for a fuel efficient hatchback car. I did some research and find Matrix has the most generous passenger + cargo space compared with its same class. I agree that the car itself doesn't look too good though. I want the color white, is it 冷門 color?
Silver and gray are definitely the most popular colour. Green is not very popular at all.
Have you considered the Fit and the newly facelifted Mazda3 at all? The Fit is a little smaller, but the magic seats make the cargo area extremely flexible. The new Mazda3 with the 2.0L SkyActiv engine is really good on gas, but I am not 100% certain if that engine is available in the hatchback at the moment. If it is, that would be a better choice than the Matrix.
